long live the diff!

Does the radness ever stop? Here's Marc Andreini with the beautiful 6'1" Diffenderfer tribute board he shaped at last year's Sacred Craft Shape-off. (I nearly spontaneously combusted when I put it under my arm--I had to ask him for an 8'0" after less than a minute of freaking out.) I think it's a winner, but I'll leave the rest of the story to the conspiracy theorists and impassioned believers (oh right, that's me.)

Rumor has it that Mollusk is going to order some, so get on the phone and hassle those folks folding t-shirts and watching Youtube...

how's that greenough stage 4A glass-on?

Say it ain't so, he spelled Diffenderfer wrong on the board!

I just had the pleasure of talking story with Marc as he was dropping off a custom to the shop. Just for kicks we pulled out an old Frye single that has seen better days, and without hesitation Marc called the year ('69 possibly early '70), then said the board looked more like a Diffenderfer than a Frye except for the rails. The Frye in question looks a lot like the Diff in this post. Cool coincidence.
Aloha.
