birds, plants, bugs, and snakes

My good friend John works for State Parks in San Luis Obispo and has this great blog about all the native plants and animals he encounters while he's at work. The photography is great and it makes me feel good that there's still some beautiful critters around...

zamora zamora zamora

Zamora is a town in the northwest of Spain. It's also the last name of my friend Ian, who shapes some highly shreddable boards in Southern California. It's good to know there's someone who's more of a techno-weenie than I am about boards, so give him a call and he'll tell you all about them:

If you don't know the work of David Muller, it's probably because he's everywhere. You may have seen some of his drawings in the Mollusk t-shirt catalog in the form of birds, jellyfish, and cliff-side surf shacks. You can see more of his work on his blog, PELICAN PILING.

Here's one of my favorites:

When Trevor isn't photographing lingerie models or singing baritone fireside karaoke, he gives lessons on how to shred.
