These boards are super fun when the waves are clean, and I've been shaping them with a more forgiving rail than the beautiful blades of the originators (for those of us who don't live near perfect point breaks.) They have full tri-plane hull entry, low rocker, flex and twist, the whole Greenough trip. Hulls have been given a bad rap for not being easy to ride, and they're not, but if you have the patience you might get a few good ones that'll change everything.

Does the radness ever stop? Here's Marc Andreini with the beautiful 6'1" Diffenderfer tribute board he shaped at last year's Sacred Craft Shape-off. (I nearly spontaneously combusted when I put it under my arm--I had to ask him for an 8'0" after less than a minute of freaking out.) I think it's a winner, but I'll leave the rest of the story to the conspiracy theorists and impassioned believers (oh right, that's me.)

Rumor has it that Mollusk is going to order some, so get on the phone and hassle those folks folding t-shirts and watching Youtube...

Andreini Koa Slider

Somehow, Marc Andreini got the very last piece of harvested koa from the Big Island. It's now on the endangered list, so it's virtually impossible to get a big enough piece of koa to make olos. Here's Marc getting his old B&D saw smokin' on some really HB wood.
