Eli Mirandon and I have been working on a 5'11" stubbie twin for the past few weeks, and here's the first prototype. After I shaped it, I handed it over to the Mirandons at their top-secret factory lair. The board has a trippy resin stain on the bottom via Eli and was glassed by his dad Nick.
Eli got to surf it in some knee to waist high waves last night and it works pretty darn good (yup, he was ripping.) Nick Mirandon was shooting some video, so we should have that footage soon.
Well done! You're the winner of this months 'bloody hell, I've never seen a surfboard like THAT' award. Looks like an awesome board, looking forward to seeing it go and future incarnations.
Original this alien board by the shape and this glass.
