That is awesome and I was thinking of trying a spoon build myself... Hey I met you on Friday at the print show. I had the drunk Minnesotan with me.. Nice to meet you, hope to see you around. How do you think a stand up spoon will work in respect to surfer input? Part of the reason I see a traditional spoon working is that you have a "dumb weight" of the riders knees etc that the board flexes around. I think GG did some stand ups but the kneeboard variety may be the norm for a reason. Articulation of feet and legs a may work counter to the natural flex of the spoon flow. Hmmmm... should be fun!
